The Client:

A major manufacturer within the food sector.

The Role:

As Project Engineer reporting directly to the Engineering Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Defining, creating and maintaining master project plans
• Evaluate assignment of new programmes with the management team
• Co-ordinate company-wide activities to ensure the achievement of project/business objectives
• Ensure that internal customer objectives are met
• Hold regular meetings with customers to review project status and timing and to arrange necessary meetings to resolve concerns and problems with the right people
• Support and assist the project teams to develop corrective action plans when problems occur
• Have an active involvement in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives.

To be successful in the role of Project Engineer will have the following skills & experience:

• Qualification in an Engineering Discipline, preferably mechanical, electronic, automotive or manufacturing engineering
• Work experience in the Food sector would be advantageous
• Good communicator both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritise workload and excellent time management skills
• A Degree or HND in Engineering, Product Design or Food Technology
• Experience of CAD software desirable
• Project management experience and qualifications
• Full UK Driving license
